The 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards went full throttle this year, live from Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar with global superstar, Africa’s baby gurl, Tyla hosting the ultimate slime-soaked summer party. If glitter and green goo had a baby, it would be this show.
Tyla kicked things off with a sizzling “Best of Summer” dance medley, DJ’d by Benny Blanco and featuring a surprise cameo from Smurfette (yes, her). Skateboarding icons Tony Hawk and Katelyn West shredded the stage before handing The Thundermans: Undercover the “Favorite Kids TV Show” award. Cue Jack Griffo and Kira Kosarin getting gloriously slimed, double trouble!

In a full-circle “aww” moment, Rihanna made history as the first-ever “ICON” Silver Blimp recipient. Accepting from the Smurf Village, she gifted fans the first-ever blue slime tsunami. Queen behavior only.
Meanwhile, Salish Matter nabbed “Favorite Female Creator,” magician SeanDoesMagic teleported mid-show (because, why not?), and Jack Black was crowned “King of Comedy” by his Nacho Libre fam before a legendary double slime finale.
MGK and KATSEYE lit the stage with explosive sets and slime canons. And yes, Dora’s backpack went missing (of course), and fans played detective live.
With surprise appearances from Victoria Monét, Terry Crews, Ice Spice, and Young Dylan, the night was a sticky, star-studded fever dream. Oh, and Tyla got the final slime blast. Iconic.
