Jessie J Returns with Don’t Tease Me with a Good Time After Breast Cancer Battle

Jessie J is back and louder than ever. She will drop her sixth studio album Don’t Tease Me with a Good Time on November 28, 2025. This announcement comes just months after her breast cancer diagnosis, surgery, and a tough recovery. She calls this project a story shot through with pain, healing, motherhood, hope and the hard work of living when life tries to pause you.

The album won’t be a whisper. It includes her earlier singles “No Secrets,” “Believe in Magic,” “And the Award Goes To,” and “Living My Best Life.” Jessie J says she has been writing these songs for years—some before she ever knew about cancer. The tracks capture grief and joy fighting for space in the same heart. She wanted to make something that comforts people still broken and yet longing for light. That depth shows in both production and lyric.

Her health journey disrupted her tour plans. She postponed UK and European tour dates until April 2026. She canceled the U.S. dates completely so she can focus on recovery. She also revealed she will need a second surgery before the end of the year. While dealing with side effects like hair loss and cording she is balancing motherhood to her two-year-old son Sky Safir with making art. She admits recovery has been raw and slow but says she is done just reacting. She wants to plan forward.

Her return to the stage at BBC Radio 2 In the Park on September 6 was more than a performance. It was a declaration. It was the first time her son saw her perform live. She said she was grateful to feel alive and see fans sing along after she feared so much silence. That moment underlined what this album is about. Not just music. Survival. Not just notes. Faith renewed. Don’t Tease Me with a Good Time is more than a release date. It is proof she is here. Still human. Still singing. Still choosing to make beauty from broken things.
