According to the lawsuit, the producer is demanding the original $20,000 fee plus a detailed breakdown of the song’s earnings. His claim is direct. The record dropped, made money, and he was left out of the financial loop.
Offset’s camp tells a very different story. They insist a deal was already in place before release, one that included the $20,000 payment and a 4 percent royalty split shared with another collaborator. From their perspective, everything was agreed, signed, and settled.
The tension escalated when the producer allegedly returned months later with new demands, asking for significantly more money than the original agreement. Offset’s team has labeled the lawsuit a cash grab, arguing this is an attempt to renegotiate after the song’s release and traction.
