For the uninitiated: the Beatles Anthology was a killer ’90s multimedia drop, three double albums overflowing with rare live takes, alternate masters, unreleased gems, and new “Beatles” tracks made possible by Jeff Lynne stitching together John Lennon demos: Free as a Bird and Real Love. Fast forward, in 2023, AI (well, machine learning wizardry) helped isolate Lennon’s vocals on Now and Then, finally completing the “final” Beatles song.
