LeAnn Rimes Joins the Firehouse! Get Ready for a Country-Tinged Rescue Drama

Country sweetheart and vocal powerhouse LeAnn Rimes is taking her spotlight straight to Nashville but this time, through smoke and flames. She’s officially signed on as Dixie Bennings in ABC’s new 9-1-1: Nashville, the next adrenaline-fueled spinoff from Ryan Murphy’s hit franchise.

Premiering Thursday, October 9, 2025, in the coveted post 9-1-1 9 p.m. slot, the show is set to ignite Nashville’s cityscape with pulse racing rescues and deeply human drama. LeAnn joins a star-studded roster, including Chris O’Donnell as Fire Captain Don Sharpe, Jessica Capshaw as his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, and newcomers like Hailey Kilgore as singer-firefighter Taylor, Hunter McVey as the brooding Blue Bennings, and more.

Being a country icon with “Blue,” How Do I Live, and Grammy momentum as her soundtrack gives LeAnn effortless credibility in Music City’s hero squad. And fans already know the excitement is mutual her Instagram reveal read: “Somebody call 911 (Nashville)… I’m super excited to be joining… we’re going to have some FUN!!”

As if that wasn’t enough, country star Kane Brown will cameo in the premiere, because what’s a Nashville rescue scene without a little chart-topping edge?

9-1-1: Nashville is leaning into its wild mix of sirens and sonics, where burnt out boots and belting solos collide. It’s not just another spin off; it’s country grit meets prime-time grit.
